FAQ
Q: What is Panchamrut Loha Guggul traditionally used for?
A: It is a classical herbo-mineral Guggulkalpa traditionally used to support nervous system health, joint and neck comfort and general Vata balance. It is a wellness product and not a treatment for any neurological, spinal or joint condition.
Q: What does it contain? Are there minerals or mercury in it?
A: Yes. Each 250 mg tablet contains Shodhit Parada (purified mercury) 17.857 mg, Shodhit Gandhaka (purified sulphur) 17.857 mg, Rajata Bhasma (silver), Abhraka Bhasma (mica) and Suvarnamakshik Bhasma (copper pyrite, not real gold) 17.857 mg each, Loha Bhasma (iron) 35.714 mg, and Shodhit Guggulu 125 mg, with mustard seed oil and the preservative sodium benzoate. Because it contains mercury, it must only be taken under the supervision of a registered Ayurvedic physician.
Q: Who should take care, and when should I see a doctor?
A: Use only under medical supervision. Avoid in pregnancy, while breastfeeding and in children unless your physician specifically advises it, and consult a doctor first if you have kidney or liver disease. Numbness, weakness, severe or sudden headache, or neck and arm pain that persists or worsens needs prompt medical evaluation and should not be self-treated with a supplement. Keep out of reach of children.
