Product Information

Description

Kutaja Parpati Vati is a proprietary Ayurvedic formulation by Shree Dhootapapeshwar Limited, traditionally used to support gastrointestinal comfort and healthy stool consistency. It combines Kutaja Parpati (a classical Rasashastra preparation) and Shankha Bhasma with Kutaja (Holarrhena antidysenterica) bark and Musta.

Each coated tablet contains Kutaja Parpati 25 mg, Shankha Bhasma 25 mg, Kutaja bark 150 mg and Musta 50 mg, processed in Kutaja bark decoction. FAQ

Q: What is Kutaja Parpati Vati traditionally used for?

A: It is a proprietary Ayurvedic formulation traditionally used to support gastrointestinal health and comfortable, well-formed stools. It is not a treatment for diarrhoea, dysentery or any infection.

Q: Does it contain mercury or other minerals?

A: Yes. Per coated tablet: Kutaja Parpati 25 mg and Shankha Bhasma (calcined conch shell) 25 mg, with Kutaja bark 150 mg and Musta 50 mg. A Parpati is a classical Rasashastra preparation, and Kutaja Parpati is made from purified mercury and sulphur, so mercury is present in a processed form. Preservatives: sodium benzoate and parabens.

Q: Who should avoid it, and when should I see a doctor?

A: Use only under the supervision of a registered Ayurvedic physician, and avoid in pregnancy and lactation. Blood or mucus in the stool, fever, severe abdominal pain, signs of dehydration, or diarrhoea lasting more than two days (or any diarrhoea in infants and the elderly) need urgent medical care. Keep out of reach of children.
