FAQ

Q: What is Arshakuthar Rasa traditionally used for?

A: It is a classical Rasakalpa traditionally used to support digestive fire and comfortable bowel movement, in the context of anorectal wellness. It is not a treatment or cure for piles/hemorrhoids and does not replace medical evaluation.

Q: Does it contain mercury or other mineral preparations?

A: Yes. Each tablet contains purified mercury (Shodhit Parada, 4.808 mg), purified sulphur, iron (Loha) Bhasma and copper (Tamra) Bhasma (9.615 mg each), along with herbs such as Danti root (a strong purgative herb), ginger, black pepper, long pepper and Soorana, plus Tankana, Yavakshara and rock salt, processed in Snuhi latex and cow urine. It must only be used under the supervision of a qualified Ayurvedic physician.

Q: Is this safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

A: No. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children, should not use this product except under the direct supervision of a qualified physician.

Q: When should I see a doctor instead of relying on this product?

A: Persistent rectal bleeding, severe pain, or a lump that does not improve needs prompt medical evaluation rather than self-treatment.
