Description

Dhanvantari Perali Oil is a classical Ayurvedic external-application oil from Dhanvantari Guj. Herb, formulated as the topical companion to the well-known Perali Tablet range. It blends Til Taila, Mahanarayan Taila, Panchgun Taila and Nirgundi Taila with Shuddha Bhallatak, Nirgundi extract and three classical Rasashastra preparations, and is traditionally massaged onto the affected area to support nerve, joint and muscle wellness.

For external use only — apply and rub gently onto the area of discomfort, or as directed by your Ayurvedic physician. A: It is traditionally used, as an external application, to support nerve, joint and muscle wellness and general mobility comfort.

Q: Does it contain any ingredient that needs caution?

A: Yes, significantly. Like its Tablet counterpart, Perali Oil contains three classical Rasashastra preparations — Ekangvir Ras, Bruhat-Vat Chintamani Ras and Yogendra Ras — which classically contain purified mercury and, in Bruhat-Vat Chintamani Ras, gold. It also contains Shuddha Bhallatak (purified marking-nut, Semecarpus anacardium), a plant that is toxic and irritant in its unpurified form. Although this is an external-use oil rather than a tablet, it should still only be used as directed and under the guidance of a qualified Ayurvedic physician, avoided during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and kept away from broken skin, the eyes and mucous membranes.
