Description

Dabur Jaimangal Ras with Gold is a classical Ayurvedic herbo-mineral tablet (Swarna Yukta) from the Jaimangal Ras formulation described in the Bhaishajya Ratnavali. It combines purified mercury (Parad) and sulphur (Gandhak) with purified borax, rock salt, black pepper and the bhasmas (calcined preparations) of gold, silver, copper, tin, iron and copper pyrite. It is traditionally used as a Rasayana to support strength, vitality and recovery after prolonged illness. Each pack contains 10 tablets.

Take as directed below or by your physician. Because it contains mercury and other metal preparations, use it only under the supervision of a qualified Ayurvedic physician. This is a traditional wellness supplement, not a treatment for fever or any diagnosed medical condition - please see the FAQ below.

FAQ

Q: What is Jaimangal Ras used for?

A: It is a classical Ayurvedic herbo-mineral formulation traditionally used as a Rasayana to support strength, vitality and recovery after prolonged illness.

Q: Does it contain mercury and metals?

A: Yes. It contains purified mercury (Shuddha Hingulottha Parad) and purified sulphur (Shuddha Gandhak), together with purified borax, rock salt, black pepper and the bhasmas of gold (Swarna), silver (Rajat), copper (Tamra), tin (Vanga), iron (Kant Lauh) and copper pyrite (Swarnamakshik). Because of the mercury and other metal content, use it only under the supervision of a qualified Ayurvedic physician, never exceed the recommended dose and avoid long-term unsupervised use.

Q: Can I use it for fever?

A: This is not a treatment for fever or any infection. A fever that lasts more than a few days, keeps returning, or comes with severe symptoms can signal a serious illness such as typhoid, malaria or dengue and needs prompt medical diagnosis and treatment. Do not use this product in place of it.

Q: Is it safe in pregnancy, breastfeeding or for children?

A: Avoid it during pregnancy and breastfeeding and do not give it to children unless a qualified Ayurvedic physician has specifically advised it, because of the mercury and heavy-metal content.

Q: Is the composition confirmed by the manufacturer?

A: The ingredient list comes from retailer listings of the Dabur pack; quantities per tablet are not published, and the pack is not on Dabur's own website. Please check the composition and dose printed on your pack.
